Ballet, Pointe, Cecchetti
Pink ballet shoes, leotard and tights are a must. Additional clothing is not necessary and restricts movement. Only dance sweaters, dance cover-ups, and leg warmers are permitted in cold weather. All girls up to level 7 should have their hair pulled back off of the face with an appropriate hair tie. Those level 7 and higher should have their hair in a bun with bangs sprayed or pinned back neatly. boys should wear black sweat pants or stretch pants and a solid color T-shirt with black ballet shoes.
Tap
Black tap shoes appropriate for level. (Beginner combination classes wear black patent leather, levels 6 through Advanced 1 black Mary Janes or U-Shell Buckle taps, and Advanced 3 and higher black tie Oxfords.) Girls should wear leotard and tights. Hair pulled back neatly off of face. Boys should wear pants that do not touch the floor and a tight fitting shirt.
Jazz
Bare feet or ballet shoes through level VI. All other levels tan slip on jazz boots. Attire is the same as tap.
Contemporary
Bare feet or foot thongs. Attire is the same as tap.
Hip Hop
Black Capezio dance sneakers. Attire is the same as tap and jazz or age appropriate street clothes.
Tumbling
Bare feet, leotard or tight fitting cop top with footless tights, stretch pants or bike pants, or unitard or biketard. No shorts or t shirts permitted. Hair should be pulled back neatly off of face.
